Enjoy a Craft With Your Children
I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools our two daughters. We spend, literally, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week together. We school together, accomplish our chores together, run errands together, and sometimes play games together. We are always together, but not all the time we spend would be considered quality time.
It’s interesting however, how my girls’ eyes light up when I suggest that we do a craft together! It’s as if the mere thought of creating something new turned on the creative juices. Mostly though, children love to spend quality time with their parents and enjoying a craft is a great way to do just that.
It doesn’t matter what you do really. Just grab the glue, crayons, construction paper, hot glue gun, ribbon, markers, card stock, buttons, pipe cleaners, stamps and ink pad, stencils, or anything else you have lying around. Get on the computer and search for a craft idea. There are tons of craft ideas online, so just pick one and get started. Your children will thoroughly enjoy the time they spent with you crafting something new. Enjoy!
